Shahid Malik’s TV appearances have been spectacular, many & varied. Television appearances have taken him not only throughout Europe but indeed the World.
The visual aspect of his Magic & Illusion results in requests to perorm regularly for Television.

Shahid had his own Channel 4 TV Special - ‘All Tied Up’, which gave a unique insight into his life & history and also saw some incredible Magic and Escape stunts.

The TV special received critical acclaim and also led to numerous offers that took Shahid around Europe - infact, Sir Paul McCartney’s office called him the following day to book him for the pop star’s prestigious Christmas Party.

There have also been many performances before Royalty both at home & abroad. Royal Command Performances before HRH Princess Margaret, His Highness Prince Rainier of Monaco, His Excellency The Sultan Of Oman, HRH The King of Belgium, to name but a few.

Shahid has also frequently performed privately before members of Royalty, Dukes & Duchesses and Foreign Princes & Princesses.

Shahid was asked twice to perform on ‘Live From The Palladium’ (ITV) before a television audience of 16 million.
His appearance was unique as it marked the first time a Magician had been asked on the show - In Shahid’s first performance he turned his wife Lisa into a fully grown Bengal Tiger; the second saw Shahid make a baby Elephant appear from nowhere - both ‘live’ on stage!

2 appearances on "Talking Telephone Numbers" showed Shahid at his very best -presenting 2 unique and original Illusions in dynamic & spectacular style.

Shahid became the first and only Magician to appear on the top rated "Wogan" BBC TV chat show. The producers had previously seen Shahid’s amazing Cardboard Box Illusion and "just had to have it on the show!"

  
 


Over 150 Global TV Appearances....

Spectacular TV appearances in the Middle East, Dubai, Lebanon, Pakistan made Shahid practically an overnight sensation.

Other Television Shows have taken Shahid all around the globe - Paris, Brussels, Antwerp, Munich, Frankfurt, Venice, Lebanon, Dubai, Stockholm, Helsinki, Iceland, Dublin - just a small selection from an enormous list of past performances.

More recently Shahid and his wife Lisa have appeared on the highly successful Channel 5 Variety series "The Big Stage" where Shahid appeared alongside host and friend Bradley Walsh.

On the recent ITV1 special "Audience without Jeremy Beadle" (May 2008) Shahid was honoured to be chosen to make a guest appearance as the late Jeremy Beadle's favourite Magician and was requested to present one of Jeremy's favourite illusions - Shahid's unique version of 'Slicing a Girl in 2'.
ITV described his appearance as "stunning".

Shahid has also recently recorded a guest appearance on BBC1's "Sorcerers Apprentice" (due to be screened early 2009).

Currently Shahid works frequently on European TV Shows and is also working on 3 original TV concepts - one of which is quite possibly the 'ultimate Escape Stunt' and arguably the most spectacular and dangerous Escape Stunt ever - a 'one time only' event - and is currently been presented to TV companies both in the UK and overseas.
